Bart leads the Dutch Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance Services (IARCS) practice and has more than 20 years of experience in (enterprise) risk management, internal control and internal audit. For the EMA region, Bart is responsible for Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) services. In addition to a focus on systems and procedures, his approach also focuses on cultural aspects and so-called 'soft controls'. Bart is also responsible for out- and co-sourced internal audit projects at various multinationals, where KPMG provides support in the performance of operational, compliance, strategic and financial audits.
