      Andrzej Gałkowski is the Country Managing Partner of KPMG in Poland, the Partner responsible for the development of AI services in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe, and the Head of the Banking Sector at KPMG in Poland.

      He has been with KPMG since 1999. Over the past 25 years, he has advised the largest financial institutions in Poland and internationally on risk management, regulatory requirements, as well as operational and technology transformation. He has worked with leading Polish banks on the development of comprehensive credit and market risk management models.

      In recent years, he has focused on the technology transformation of the financial services sector and the implementation of artificial intelligence solutions. He supports financial institutions in the responsible and effective adoption of emerging technologies across business operations – from model development and implementation to risk management and regulatory compliance related to new technologies.

      He graduated from Warsaw School of Economics with a degree in Finance and Banking, and holds an MSc in International Finance and Investment from University of Derby.

        He is a member of the Programme Council of the European Financial Congress.
