What are e-Invoices and why is it so important?
As of January 1, 2022, Polish companies can issue e-Invoices via KSeF. This is one of the permissible forms of documenting sales and purchase transactions – in addition to paper invoices and electronic invoices already in business.
In 2026 e-invoicing will be mandatory for taxpayers having a seat or a fixed establishment in Poland.
According to the latest draft bill, mandatory e-invoicing will be introduced in 2 phases:
- February 1, 2026 – for taxpayers whose turnover exceeded in 2025 the value of PLN 200 million,
- April 1, 2026 – for the rest of taxpayers.
