As a knowledge company, education and knowledge-building are essential components for all the initiatives we choose to engage in. Partnerships and engagements
KPMG is a partner to Mentor Sverige, a non-profit organization working to help youth reach their full potential, through support from positive role models, mentorship, inspiration, and contacts for the future. Through Mentor Sverige, KPMG positively contributes to society by supporting youth, a target group that has always been important to us.
KPMG finances and provides research support to various universities and colleges, including tax law research and development at the Stockholm Centre for Commercial Law (SCCL) at Stockholm University. The support aims to improve and expand tax law scientific research and the ability to disseminate research results to the practical business world.
The talent program Female Tech Engineer, by the recruitment company CoGig, with the mission encourage more women and non-binary individuals to participate in developing future systems and products in the tech industry. The talent program creates opportunities for the target group to build a network of potential future employers and industry colleagues before embarking on a career in tech, thereby promoting increased equality within the industry. The talent program specifically targets female and non-binary engineering students nearing the completion of their education.
Diversity Charter Sweden is one of the largest networks addressing issues related to inclusion and diversity. KPMG Sweden is a proud signatory of Diversity Charter Sweden, and together we advocate for diversity and inclusion both in the workplace and in society.
The Consumer Electronic Show (CES) is the world's largest tech event, held annually in Las Vegas with thousands of exhibitors and participants from around the world. KPMG sponsors Sweden@CES together with the Embassy of Sweden in Washington DC, Teknikföretagen, Business Sweden, GTI and Electrification Hub. Together, KPMG and Sweden@CES support the Swedish business network in their internationalization journey by arranging networking breakfasts and dinners for Swedish and Nordic companies in Las Vegas. We also offer free tickets and meeting rooms, creating opportunities for business and international contacts with established relations. At the same time, interest from external actors increases through a broader network with many companies instead of individual companies.
Women in M&A is a network committed to promoting equity and inclusivity within the mergers and acquisitions industry. The network offers a platform for women to connect, share insights, and foster professional growth through a variety of social activities, such as networking lunches and mingles. Launched in 2023, the community has rapidly grown to connect over 280 women across 65 organizations throughout Stockholm. KPMG is a proud sponsor, supporting this initiative to empower women and enhance collaboration in the sector.
