Cyril holds a master’s and doctoral degree from the Faculty of Law at Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice. He began his legal career in 2006 in the banking sector and later moved into law practice, where he has been active for 15 years. He joined KPMG in 2019 as a senior manager, focusing on mergers and acquisitions as well as financial regulation. He has provided comprehensive advisory services to several major international banking and financial groups in the field of financial regulation, represented clients in proceedings for obtaining licenses to provide investment services and activities for securities dealers, and offered legal counsel on the transfer of client assets from a defunct to a continuing central securities depository. Additionally, he has advised numerous clients on mergers and acquisitions.
