A Partner since 2014, Katie leads our Financial Services practice serving regional and mid-market FS clients across the UK, as well as being the UK Head of Governance, Risk and Compliance Services. Across her career, she has worked closely with the Building Society sector, across a range of services.

Katie is KPMG’s voice in the market and plays a fundamental role in our go-to-market strategy. She brings deep expertise and insight to our clients informed by 25 years’ experience of working with UK and global FS organisations having originally begun her career in the regional FS Audit practice that serviced the market she now leads. As a senior leader in the Firm, Katie convenes the very best of our sector knowledge and experience from across our UK and global FS networks to shape client conversations through industry-defining and differentiated work and to enhance market trust in our brand.

Katie has held various leadership roles across the KPMG UK Firm in Audit, Consulting and for the FS sector. A Chartered Accountant by training and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, she has significant experience providing risk consulting and assurance services to clients in the UK and globally. Katie leads the UK Governance, Risk & Compliance Services team, and has extensive experience of delivering Internal Audit, assurance, risk and governance services to a variety of large, listed Financial Services and Corporate clients operating in the U.K. and internationally. She has over 20 years’ experience providing internal audit, governance, risk, control and assurance services to clients operating in the UK and globally. Predominantly focussed in Banking and Building Societies, Katie has also worked extensively across the Insurance (Life and Non-Life), Asset Management and FinTech sectors. She has also delivered similar engagements to clients operating in the Power & Utilities, Life Sciences, Consumer Markets and Industrial Manufacturing sectors in her UK leadership role.
