Scott Flynn is the Global Head of Audit for KPMG International and part of the KPMG Global Management Team. As part of this role, Scott leads the Global Audit practice including 95,000 dedicated audit professionals across 145 countries. Prior to this role, Scott was the Vice Chair – Audit at KPMG US where he was responsible for creating and executing the strategic vision for the U.S. Audit practice. He led a team of more than 900 Audit partners and 7,000 Audit professionals and drove a strategy that shaped the profession’s future.

As a result of more than 30 years working with multinational companies, Scott acquired a comprehensive view of the audit profession. He developed vast international experience through his international client services experiences, having lived and worked in Asia for three years, and leading the KPMG U.S. GAAP and Risk Management teams in the Shanghai office.

As leader of the KPMG Board Leadership Center, Scott supported directors in their board service with the ambition of improving governance of the U.S. capital markets. He previously served as the global lead audit engagement partner for a Fortune 50 company, as Engagement Quality Control Review Partner for KPMG audits that included Fortune 100 companies, and as Account Executive for several public companies. Scott was formerly a member of the KPMG U.S. Board of Directors and the America's Board of Directors.
