      Cyber security workshops for students


      With major data breaches and attacks surfacing in Singapore in recent years, there is a pressing need to raise the cyber awareness of our people. Recognising that youth are the most vulnerable due to the amount of time they spend online, KPMG professionals have tailored a curriculum to teach students valuable lessons on how to stay safe online and protect their personal data. Since the inception of the programme in 2017, we have reached out to over 8,020 students in Singapore.

      In 2021, we ran a special cyber outreach edition with NVPC that had 126 individuals from over 55 community organisations in attendance.

      ISCA Cares mentorship programme


      ISCA Cares is a charity that has been conferred Institutions of Public Character (IPC) status, and is set up by the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA). Its mentoring programme offers beneficiaries of ISCA Cares’ Education Programme opportunities to learn and gain insights from experienced mentors within the accounting and finance profession. We are proud to have mentors from our management team share industry knowledge, motivations, advice and counsel to enhance their mentees’ personal and professional development and to inspire the young to join the profession.

      Giving Week


      Giving Week is KPMG in Singapore’s firmwide initiative to encourage our employees and their families to make a positive difference. Each year, different themes are highlighted. In 2021, KPMG Giving Week was focused on supporting and uplifting persons with disabilities. Our employee volunteers spent a day with our beneficiaries and learnt how to better offer support through a workshop. In addition, a fundraiser with 1-1 matching funded by KPMG, was set up to support SPD's Transition to Employment Program.

      Make A Difference Day (MADD)


      MADD is a dedicated community outreach initiative held in many KPMG member firms worldwide. KPMG in Singapore has upheld this proud annual tradition where departments within the firm dedicate a day to spend with beneficiaries of selected Voluntary Welfare Organisations (VWO). On average, we contribute about 13,000 hours to MADD activities each year.

      Give Time Volunteering Programme


      Give Time is one of our community investment activities which strives to encourage our employees to play a more active role in community service. Employees are empowered with up to 40 hours of paid leave per annum to drive and participate in community projects. This way, our people get to contribute their skills, time and efforts to causes that they are passionate about.

      Over the years, KPMG in Singapore employees have travelled to various communities overseas such as Fiji, Mongolia and Myanmar to lend a helping hand to people in need as part of their ‘Give Time’ leave. In 2019, our full-time employees clocked in over 10,000 hours volunteering with a community of their choice, both in Singapore and internationally. 

      In times of need, KPMG in Singapore provides relief support to aid communities displaced by crises and disasters. Examples include Covid-19 initiatives or fundraisers for other countries facing disasters. Discover more.
