Rockaway Capital, an investment group, has acquired a 100 % stake in UK-based Experience Education, one of the leading providers of educational travel in the United Kingdom, from Travelopia. Through this transaction, Rockaway enters a new segment at the intersection of two attractive sectors, education and travel, while further strengthening its presence in Western European markets. Rockaway intends to leverage Experience Education as a platform for building a significant European educational travel group.

Rockaway Capital is an investment group founded by Jakub Havrlant. Over the years, it has built a diversified portfolio of investments across private equity, venture capital and digital assets, and has contributed to the growth of several notable companies, including Invia Group and Euromedia Group. The group focuses on actively developing high-growth businesses and supporting their international expansion.
Experience Education
Experience Education is a UK-based platform with more than 50 years of history focused on educational travel and school trips. Through six brands Travelbound, SkiBound, Edwin Doran, JCA, World Challenge and Masterclass, it delivers educational, sports and experiential travel programmes for schools and student groups across the UK and internationally. The group works with approximately 1,400 schools and organises trips for nearly 100,000 pupils and students each year. It is the only operator in the UK market active across all major segments of school travel.

KPMG in Slovakia and KPMG Ukraine provided financial due diligence and SPA advisory related to pricing mechanism to Rockaway Capital in connection with the acquisition of a 100 % stake in Experience Education.
