Heather is a Director in our Internal Audit, Risk and Compliance Services function. Heather leads a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors (including Defence, Consumer Markets, Professional Services and Life Sciences), delivering risk, governance and internal controls services. She has worked with organisations at different stages of risk and control maturity. She:
- helps clients to design and implement effective risk and governance frameworks and adopt the latest technology;
- undertakes maturity assessments of existing risk and governance frameworks – identifying opportunities for her clients to strengthen their approach to governance and risk; and
- designs and implements robust internal control frameworks, providing coaching to clients to create something sustainable.
One area of particular interest to Heather is helping clients think about the evolution of their three lines of defence and their approach to integrated assurance, given advances in technology around governance, risks and controls.
