James has experience delivering large-scale transformation, risk modelling and regulatory projects for a range of financial institutions in the UK, Europe and Asia.
Prior to joining KPMG UK, James spent six years in Hong Kong working for KPMG China in the risk advisory practice. Before that, he worked for a major UK bank.
James is primarily specialised in credit risk management, including regulatory reviews, credit process redesign, credit decisioning, credit risk modelling (IRB, IFRS 9, credit scoring) and model validation, credit risk policy and credit portfolio analysis. He also has wider experience delivering projects covering climate risk, enterprise risk management, model risk, ICAAP and stress testing.
