Arran is a seasoned Indirect Tax consultant and strategic leader with an entrepreneurial mindset, having built and led successful businesses in professional services. With a career spanning over two decades at KPMG, Arran has excelled in various client-facing roles, particularly in indirect tax, where he has developed long-term trusted relationships with clients and led high-value VAT projects. He co-founded the health VAT team and in his career has secured significant VAT savings for major clients.
Currently, as Propositions Director Arran leads the go-to-market function for Indirect Tax, focusing on user acquisition, engagement, and showcasing VAT and Trade & Customs solutions and services on our KPMG Beyond platform. He has been instrumental in developing the tax practice's insights content strategy, growing the teams digital content significantly over the last few years. Arran also hosts the KPMG Beyond 'Tax Leaders Community' and leads the 'Taxplainer' podcast series, promoting KPMG's wider tax perspectives.
Arran's extensive network within KPMG, particularly in Tax & Legal and advisory functions, enables him to drive market activation and client engagement effectively. His passion for coaching using tax insights as a route to market helps develop our external voices and personal brands within the firm. Outside of work, Arran enjoys music, traveling, fitness, and amateur cuisine.
