Vicky leads for KPMG on issues with HMRC as part of the Tax Dispute Resolution and governance team. She supports businesses with the effective navigation of all interactions with HMRC.
Vicky spent 15 years at HMRC in Large Business prior to rejoining KPMG in 2024, where she was one of six regional deputy directors who made up the HMRC Large Business national leadership team as the deputy director for Large Business Midlands. Vicky led a team of 350 responsible for the tax compliance affairs for c.340 of the UK’s largest groups across several sectors and accountable for the delivery of over £1bn of compliance yield each year. Prior to this, she was the Large Business SCS lead responsible for strategy and change, Brexit, systems and process error (SAO) and data analytics.
Vicky has been a sector lead and also accountable for several high-risk corporate programme cases to resolution and worked as the lead on the Tax Dispute Resolution board, which governs HMRC’s most sensitive and large cases, reporting to the Tax Assurance Commissioners. Within her team were the HMRC Large Business ADR team and SAO, CCO and governance teams.
