Judd Caplain retired 30 September 2023. He was appointed KPMG’s Global Head of Financial Services on 1 April 2021, leading KPMG’s largest practice with over 50,000 dedicated Partners and professionals around the world. Having joined KPMG nearly 20 years ago, Judd held the position of Global Head of Banking & Capital Markets since December 2017 and served as the Global Lead Partner for a leading global financial institution. He has held a number of leadership roles within our US organization, including National Advisory Industry leader for Banking. Judd has vast experience in the Financial Services industry, providing advice to various top-tier firms, including global commercial and investment banks, credit card issuers and insurance companies. His focus is across strategy, disruption and transformation, and risk, regulatory and governance, all with a focus on execution and driving value for clients. Judd is a leader in the Global Financial Services industry, meeting with client senior management, regulators and governments on key industry issues. As a reputable thought leader and specialist, Judd is often quoted by industry and business publications on a range of Financial Services topics. Judd believes the Financial Services industry has entered a pivotal moment with the intersection of digitization, evolving customer needs and the expectation of the industry to take a leadership position in addressing today’s greatest environmental, societal and governance issues, while at the same time maintaining resilience and relevance in the market.
