KPMG in the U.S.

Per advises senior executives and boards on the responsible use of AI to drive growth, productivity, innovation, and transformation. He spear-heads the Firm’s efforts to help clients navigate the Generative AI market disruption, as the AI Go-To-Market Acceleration Leader for the advisory practice. Per also chairs the board committee that oversees the Firm’s own use of AI as a strategic differentiator.

Per’s work with Artificial Intelligence spans a period of more than 30 years. He is passionate about the opportunities to leverage technology to drive human productivity and creativity in a business environment, for both Corporate and Private Equity clients.

Since the launch of Chat-GPT 4, he has led the KPMG GenAI Rapid Response team established to support more than 1000 client interactions across all sectors and functions. He has personally engaged with numerous Boards, C-suite leaders, and investors to share perspectives on GenAI, AI and advanced analytics.

Per Chairs the Board Committee that provides oversight of the Firm’s technology and operations. This includes restructuring the organization of the Firm around AI and the launch of Advisory GPT—one of the earliest large- scale deployments of a LLM in a corporate environment used more than 2 million times.

In prior KPMG roles, he pioneered the practical use of Machine Learning for business benefit within the KPMG Strategy Practice and authored thought leadership on the implications of Deep Learning in the automotive industry.

Per joined KPMG from Cisco Systems, where he was vice president for global strategy, M&A, business development, and operations for Cisco Global Services. In this role, he led the transformation of Cisco’s service strategy and go-to-market transformation to improve efficiency and capture new growth opportunities.

Prior, he spent 17 years with McKinsey & Company, serving leading technology and telecommunications clients in North America, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Per started his career at the European Space Agency and worked on the use of space technology to mitigate natural disasters and the civil use of drones to augment Broadband satellite communications.
