Tom is the Head of Risk Consulting for the Banking and Asset Management sectors and the Head of KPMG’s Financial Risk Management practice in Hong Kong. He started his career with KPMG London and joined KPMG’s Hong Kong office in 2002.

He has over 23 years’ experience advising banks, securities companies and asset managers on all aspects of regulatory compliance in Hong Kong and other Asian jurisdictions. Tom also advises financial institutions in the region on the implications of global regulatory reforms and developments. Specific projects led by Tom include regulatory investigations, internal control reviews, license applications, market entry projects, target operating model reviews and regulatory remediations. Tom regularly advises clients on their risk management policies, procedures and internal controls as well as the application of regulatory capital frameworks for banks and other financial markets intermediaries.
