      Mikkel Papendick Andersen is director in KPMG Acor Tax's Tax Transformation and Technology Services practice. Mikkel has more than 13 years of experience advising clients on innovation and business process transformations. 

      Since 2017, Mikkel has led innovation projects for mid-sized and large clients, managing international projects and overseeing stakeholder reporting, supervision, and training of offshored resources. His experience includes strategic initiatives transforming processes, structures, and culture, with a pragmatic, business-oriented approach that combines change programs, IT projects, and audit engagements to ensure effective implementation and high-quality deliverables.

      Specialising in global compliance management services and transformation, PMO services, and data analytics and integration, Mikkel has designed, built, and implemented new processes for a wide range of KPMG clients, including multinational groups with centralised service organisations and decentralised production facilities. His expertise encompasses business process re-engineering, concept development for process automation, data-driven approaches, workshop facilitation for process changes and tool implementation, and governance improvements through steering committee meetings and new policy implementation. His auditing experience with international and listed groups has provided deep insights into finance processes, controls, and compliance.

        Mikkel earned his master's degree in business economics and auditing from Aalborg University in 2017. He also holds various ACCA Qualifications.
