Bent Dalager is an Equity Partner in KPMG NewTech, KPMG’s area within AI and quantum technology. He has more than 30 years of advisory and implementation experience across multiple industries, with particular insight into the financial sector.
Bent holds an MSc in Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence, a BA in Management, and a BA in Mathematical Economics. He has also completed further education at Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
He is an external lecturer at the Copenhagen Business School MBA, CBS Board Education, and the INSEAD Executive MBA, a speaker at a range of both large and small AI conferences, and a regular contributor to Millionærklubben and TV 2 Denmark. He hosts KPMG’s podcast TechTalk and the TV program AI til tiden on DK4.
Bent has delivered AI projects for some of Denmark’s largest companies across industries, as well as for several of the country’s largest public agencies and municipalities.
He is the author of the book Henry Ford Reglen on a new perspective on work and ethics in the age of AI, and the creator of the process methodology NewPractice, which enables AI- and data-driven process transformation as an alternative to the traditional Lean approach.
Bent is a digital advisor in the council of Akademiet for de Tekniske Videnskaber (ATV), Chair of the NewTech Policy Board at IT-Branchen, and a member of the Fintech Advisor Group at the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority. He is also co-founder of the Danish Quantum Community and the Danish Council on Data Ethics, and previously served for many years as Vice Chair of Save the Children Denmark.
