Casper Bjerregaard Eskildsen is partner in KPMG Acor Tax’s VAT, Customs and Excise Duties Services practice. Casper has more than 13 years of experience advising e.g. financial institutions, personal transport and real estate.
Casper’s work includes assisting clients on general advice on VAT and payroll tax, calculation of VAT deductions and payroll tax, assessment of the VAT treatment of services (VAT exempt vs. VAT liable), optimisation and restructuring, risk assessment and M&A.
He has also assisted with several binding rulings for the National Tax Board and cases for the Danish Tax Tribunal on complex legal issues regarding VAT and payroll tax.
Casper is the author and co-author of several contributions within VAT law and has thus published articles in both national and international journals. Casper has regularly given lectures in Denmark as well as abroad on topics within the field. He has furthermore many years of experience as a teacher at Copenhagen Business School. He is legal editor for Karnov Group's collection of laws for VAT and payroll tax. He is also the co-author of the book “Momsretten”.
