      Ria is partner in KPMG Acor Tax's Corporate Tax Services practice and chairperson for the Supervisory Board at KPMG Acor Tax. Ria has more than 25 years of experience within M&A and fund formation advising on transactions tax, including the sale and acquisition of businesses and real estate, general investments, group structures, financing, and setting up fund structures.

      Ria has advised a wide range of Danish and international businesses, venture and private equity funds, structures and due diligence investigations. She has extensive experience in renewables, large-structured transactions and debt structures.

      Ria has been a member of the Tax Minister’s Council on Tax Legislation since the Council was founded.

      2. Education & qualification

        Ria earned her master's degree in economics from the University of Copenhagen in 1992 and in business finance from Copenhagen Business School in 1996. Ria has furthermore completed various programmes at international business schools, including the Wharton Business School, and most recently she took the one-year “Chairman's 25 program” at INSEAD.
