Christian Hjort is tax director in KPMG Acor Tax's Corporate Tax practice. Christian has more than 10 years of experience advising corporate on corporate tax matters, in particular in respect of taxation of renewables and multinationals as well as responsible and transparent tax practices.
Before joining KPMG Acor Tax in 2024, Christian worked with Danish renewable energy company, Ørsted, focusing on corporate taxation, tax controversy and tax policy matters. Christian possesses extensive experience in taxation of renewables and international tax matters, and now services energy developers, insurance companies, transportation and pharma companies as well as funds and private equity investors.
His career has focused on corporate tax and international tax, with a particular emphasis on responsible tax matters and tax policy engagements as well as taxation of renewable energy. Based in the Copenhagen office, Christian is part of the Danish corporate tax and the ESG tax teams in KPMG Acor Tax.
