      Camilla Kruse is Head of People & Partner and at KPMG Denmark which she joined in 2024. She is responsible for defining the people agenda to ensure that KPMG remains the most attractive workplace in the sector. The scope spans from employer branding over talent attraction and recruitment to learning & development, leadership support and ensuring a strong and inclusive culture. Furthermore, Camilla is overall responsible for the more operational aspects of HR and for digitalization of HR processes.

      With a master’s degree in international development and geography, Camilla started her career with the United Nations in Malawi and has worked and done field work in Zimbabwe and Ghana around cultural change and perceptions of empowerment and equality. In Denmark, Camilla has worked in the public sector (Københavns Kommune, Albertslund Kommune) and with Local Government Denmark (Kommunernes Landsforening, KL) before joining another “Big 4” professional services firm where she worked as a consultant and later as CHRO.

      Based on a two-year leader program in narrative methodology from Dispuk, Camilla takes a curious, listening and respectful approach to organizational development and in particular to the people working in these organizations.

      Camilla has 20+ years’ experience as a management consultant in the field of business transformation, digitalization, process optimization and change management. Camilla’s move from being an external consultant to the internal role within People and Culture means that she brings in a client perspective and an agile mindset with regards to the transformations she drives with colleagues internally.
