Pia is partner in KPMG Acor Tax's Global Mobility Tax practice. Pia has more than 30 years of experience advising on tax matters. She joined KPMG Acor Tax in October 2014, after more than 20 years at KPMG in Denmark, where she headed the Individual and Business Taxation department for more than 13 years. At KPMG Acor Tax, Pia primarily advises clients in the building and construction sectors, specialising in national and international tax for businesses operating through permanent establishments, including structures for national and global workforces, subcontractors, and intercompany cross-border services.
With a background in both individual and corporate tax, Pia specialises in coordinating multiple tax disciplines. She acts as a key adviser for clients and their tax teams, liaising between different specialist groups within clients' organisations. Her extensive experience includes coordinating individual tax, corporate tax/law, transfer pricing, employment law, and social security. Pia's role as lead partner for large Danish headquarters clients has given her a deep understanding of business strategy and needs, making her adept at strategic sparring for businesses undergoing global transformation, restructuring, or market entry. This expertise is particularly relevant for Danish headquarters businesses operating abroad or foreign businesses starting activities in Denmark.
Besides providing overall services and solutions, she advises management teams and key individuals on their tax matters.
