Anja Bjørnholt Lüthcke has worked at KPMG since 1989 and is one of the founders of the new KPMG. She is Head of KPMG Denmark’s Large Cap audit team and serves as the Quality Performance Partner within KPMG Denmark’s audit practice, overseeing various audit quality initiatives, including quality controls within KPMG audit in Denmark.
She is a State Authorised Public Accountant and holds an MSc in Business Economics and Auditing. In addition, she is certified to audit insurance companies and pension funds, is an Approved Sustainability Auditor, and has completed management and assurance education at Wharton University. She also holds a Prince2 certification.
Anja possesses extensive expertise in conducting group audits, with proficiency in the Danish Financial Statements Act, IFRS, and the Executive Order on Financial Reports for Insurance Companies and Multi-Employer Occupational Pension Funds. She regularly conducts quality control both domestically and internationally and serves as the Quality Assurance Partner for several PIE clients while overseeing other quality assurance initiatives at KPMG Denmark.
Anja is customer-oriented and pragmatic, with solid experience in providing constructive and practical advice. She focuses on bridging the gap between different professional skills and functions, ensuring collaboration and ongoing sparring between management and advisors.
Beyond her role at KPMG, Anja serves as a mentor in Velkommen Hjem, an organization that helps veterans transition from the armed forces to the civilian job market. She is also a passionate bike rider and fundraiser for the Team Rynkeby Foundation.
