      Flemming Lind Johansen is partner in KPMG Acor Tax’s VAT, Customs & Excise Duties Services practice. Flemming has more than 30 years of experience advising large and international clients, including listed companies and cross-border groups, on VAT, Customs and other indirect tax services.

      Flemming is responsible for a number of cases that have led to improved indirect tax conditions for businesses. He was the architect behind the introduction of flex leasing of vehicles, abolishment of canteen VAT, VAT on reminder fees, international flight companies’ non-payment of VAT on purchases, abolishment of energy taxes on refineries’ own use of energy products and on lubricant oil and a new regime for repayment of national non-EU conform taxes.

      Flemming is the author of several VAT books. In more than 15 years, he was external lecturer and mentor at Copenhagen Business School. Furthermore, he is representative of Danish Auditors in the Danish tax authorities’ customs committee and a member of the VAT committee of Danish Auditors.

      He has also been a lecturer on the Danish tax authorities’ VAT education programme for several years.
