Jane Thorhauge Møllmann is a Director and has been with KPMG since 2006. She is part of KPMG's Nordic Department for Professional Practice (Nordic DPP) and serves as Head of the Danish Accounting Team as well as the Nordic ESG Topic Team. Additionally, she is a member of KPMG’s international Topic Team ESG and FSR’s Regnskabsudvalg (REGU).
She holds an MSc in Business Economics and Auditing and is an Approved Sustainability Auditor.
Before joining KPMG, Jane worked for several large listed Danish companies, where she was responsible for consolidation preparation, annual report drafting, implementing new consolidation systems and processes, and transitioning to IFRS. At KPMG, she advises clients on complex accounting and regulatory matters related to the Danish Financial Statements Act, the Danish Bookkeeping Act, the Danish Company Act, ESG, and IFRS. She also oversees KPMG Denmark's accounting publications, newsletters, tools, and internal and external training programs.
Jane is actively involved in shaping ESG reporting standards, participating in the EMA ESG Team, which has contributed to comment letters on the draft ESRSs. As a member of KPMG’s international Topic Team ESG, she collaborates on global ESG initiatives and regulatory developments.
Beyond her role at KPMG, Jane is an Associate Professor at Aarhus University, where she shares her expertise in accounting and financial reporting.
