      Christopher Pedersen is a Partner at KPMG and Head of KPMG Denmark’s IT Audit and Attestation Department. With more than 20 years of experience as an auditor, he specialises in identifying and mitigating IT-related risks in complex audits. He also supports clients in issuing service organisation reports (ISAE 3402, ISAE 3000, and SOC2) with KPMG’s audit opinion.

      Christopher holds an MSc in Accounting and Finance and a BSc in Computer Science. He became a registered public accountant and a Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) in 2013.

      Throughout his career, Christopher has performed complex IT audit and consulting tasks for large organisations with intricate IT environments. His experience spans both smaller organisations and engagements involving 30+ IT attestations issued annually across Europe. With a background in IT operations and financial auditing, he has a strong ability to identify audit risks and communicate them pragmatically.

      Christopher has extensive experience with group audits and shared service centres for complex and large PIE companies. He leads an IT audit and attestation team that prioritises diversity, achieving a 50/50 gender split.

      Beyond his role at KPMG, Christopher has served as a facilitator and specialist IT auditor, leading numerous training sessions on IT audit and IT risk management across the Nordic countries over the last decade.
