Kim Pedersen is partner in KPMG Acor Tax's VAT, Customs & Excise Duties Services practice. Kim has more than 20 years of experience advising clients and several years of VP experience from public and privately held financial and export credit institutions.
Kim joined KPMG Acor Tax as a partner in 2019, specialising in indirect tax structuring, litigation, and risk mitigation. His indirect tax technical expertise is supplemented by a management toolbox including RACI analysis, business process and organisational reengineering, as well as RPA. Kim has a track record of providing pragmatic and commercially implementable solutions to technically complex issues. His experience also includes extended collaboration with tax authorities to this end.
When working with manufacturing multinationals, Kim has focused on business process design in the network of global services, centres of excellence, global tax, sales, and logistics to ensure correct capture and documentation of goods flows, and reporting of indirect taxes. His work aims to support the identified strategic commercial strengths of the company and, in the case of post-transaction services, the full strategic potential of the characteristics of the target company. This primarily focuses on supporting logistics, sales, or administrative risk-mitigating supremacy.
