Niels Pedersen is a Partner at KPMG where he leads the Process Excellence and Enterprise Performance Management team within CFO Advisory. His role focuses on helping clients’ finance functions become more efficient and effective by improving and automating operational processes. On the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) agenda, Niels supports clients in making their financial planning processes more insightful, leveraging predictive analytics to eliminate manual work. Furthermore, he assists clients in providing deeper insights into the profitability of their business, products, and customers, uncovering opportunities to maximize earnings.
Throughout his career, Niels has gained broad experience in the private sector, working across most areas of the finance function, including supply chain, R&D, and commercial operations. From an industry perspective, he has worked across a wide range of sectors, as finance and EPM practices share many common traits that apply universally.
Niels is known for his strong focus on understanding and delivering the value that clients expect. He prioritizes identifying and realizing potential value early in a project, ensuring that resources are allocated where they matter most.
