Emma Smith is Manager in KPMG Acor Tax's VAT, Customs & Excise Duties Services practice. Emma has been a part of the team since January 2019, where she joined as a student assistant. During her time with KPMG Acor Tax, Emma has engaged in many different areas of VAT and problems relating to these. In particular, Emma deals with financial transactions and companies in a VAT context.
Emma has particular experience with financial transactions and activities, especially investment structures and funds, composing requests for binding rulings from the Danish Tax Authorities and appeals to the National Tax Tribunal, review and calculation of partial VAT deductibility and VAT due diligence in relation with M&A transactions.
