      Katrine Strange is partner in KPMG Acor Tax's Corporate Tax Services practice. Katrine advices on general corporate tax matters, and has more than 10 years of experience advising on asset management and fund matters, including private equity, infrastructure and debt funds. She provides tax advice throughout all phases of fund lifecycles, including fund structuring, formation, investor negotiations during fundraising, M&A and structuring of investments, fund tax reporting, carried interest, etc. 

      Katrine assists Danish institutional investors, including pension funds, life insurance companies, foundations, family offices and other institutional investors with tax due diligence on alternative investments such as private equity investments. Her services include reviewing the eligibility of structures for investors' tax purposes, addressing responsible tax matters, and suggesting improvements to structures or agreements. Her client base comprises Danish and international private equity funds, asset managers, institutional investors, pension funds, life insurance companies, family offices, etc.

      Katrine joined KPMG on 1 February 2015. Before this, she worked as legal counsel at A.P. Møller – Maersk and the Technical University of Denmark, gaining experience in contract negotiation and general legal counselling.

        Katrine earned her master's degree in business administration and commercial law from Copenhagen Business School in 2015.
