Ole Schmidt is partner in KPMG Acor Tax's Corporate Tax Services practice. Ole has more than 25 years of experience advising on corporate and international taxation, including the sale and purchase of businesses, corporate restructuring, tax optimisation, and hydrocarbon taxation.
In January 2012, Ole helped form Accura Tax, now KPMG Acor Tax. Before that, he was partner in Accura Advokatpartnerselskab's tax law team from 2009. From 1999 to 2009, Ole worked in another Big Four tax department, culminating as a partner and head of corporate international tax services. He began his career working for with SKAT, the Danish Tax Agency, from 1998 to 1999.
He has advised a wide range of Danish and international businesses, private equity funds, and venture capitalists on Danish and international business transfers, focusing on corporate tax structure, financing, and tax due diligence investigations. He has extensive experience in large-structured transactions and the transfer of small and medium-sized businesses.
