What does the stamp mean:
As a client at KPMG P/S you can get this stamp when you have received a generic assurance report related to its internal controls e.g. on internal controls over financial reporting (ISAE 3402) or on controls supporting compliance with e.g. data processing agreements or NIS2 (ISAE 3000). The stamp will not be supplied for reports covering only a segment or a specific client in a shared control environment.
What is this useful for:
The stamp is for the use of the receiving organization, It can be used for website or email signature promotion and to show the maturity of the organisation. It provides the knowledge of an ISAE report being present and it shows the period the report covers. The stamp itself does not present any information on scope of the report or the opinion issued.
KPMG P/S recommends that the logo is presented with an option to receive the current version of the report, so any stakeholder can get the full insights into the assurance report and opinion. Also KPMG P/S recommends that a presentation of scope and controls are available on the website, so a stakeholder can get an overview of the internal controls being audited and the annual audit cycle.
