Infrastructure provides the essential means for our society to live, work and play. Our society relies on it, and it also provides the cornerstone for all economic activities.
However, the increasing needs of our society as our population grows, coupled with the simultaneous need to address critical climate and wider sustainability goals, creates a perfect storm of challenges for those charged with developing and operating our critical infrastructure.
Public service delivery constraints including fiscal, capacity and capability - given the size of the challenge, alongside a rapidly evolving regulatory and technology landscape and global factors affecting all countries compound this challenge further.
However, in the midst of these challenges lies immense opportunity necessitating collaboration to innovate solutions and unlock the potential for transformative change.
