Making real IMPACT
KPMG IMPACT partners with organisations to positively impact the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. We are working to help Māori, public, and private sector organisations drive positive social and environmental outcomes for Aotearoa and all New Zealanders.
We are a multi-disciplinary team drawn from across KPMG, united by our mission, and offering a unique range of complementary skills that include climate change modelling, adaptation and resilience; decarbonisation; financial analysis and business case development; corporate sustainability and regenerative business models; green finance; responsible investment; impact measurement; integrated reporting; audit and assurance.
We are strategically located in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. In addition, we have the support of our global whānau, which includes more than 800 experts sharing solutions across 60 countries.
The principles, standards, guidelines, methodologies and tools we use to support clients are internationally recognised, tested over time and updated through continual feedback.
From Business-as-Usual to Change-as-Usual
We live in an era of extraordinary environmental and social challenges - unprecedented in scope, complexity and velocity of change. Our mission is to help clients navigate these challenges, fulfil their purpose, and deliver sustainable value to stakeholders for an inclusive, prosperous, and resilient New Zealand.
Climate change, pervasive environmental degradation, chronic social inequalities, the proliferation of acute social injustices, declining trust and confidence in major institutions and – most recently – the COVID crisis, are forcing us to reconsider what kind of world we want to live in, what and who we value, whose opinions we listen to, how we govern, and how we view ‘facts.’
Our social, political and economic structures are having to pivot hard and fast to keep up. With disruption, however, comes opportunity to do things differently – to dramatically reshape and improve the trajectory of our world.
