University Partnerships

In 2021, KPMG launched a number of strategic partnerships to benefit our clients, colleagues and communities.

KPMG has launched strategic partnerships with universities in the UK to drive insights for clients and support the regional economic growth agenda.

The collaborations will deliver deep and commercially useful insights to businesses, amplifying growth, innovation, and productivity in regional economies, while supporting universities in the commercialisation of their research and the career readiness of their students.

The Purpose

Each collaboration has a different specialism that utilises the strengths of the university and delivers a number of initiatives, including deep and commercially useful insights to businesses, amplifying growth, innovation and productivity in regional economies.  They will also explore joint initiatives regarding sectorial industry insights, skill building, learning opportunities and the sharing of collaboration space.

The Benefits

  1. Enabling Collaboration

These university alliances put KPMG’s commitment to collaboration in its regional markets at the heart of its plans for the future of work, building on its adoption of hybrid working.

  1. Cultivating Innovation

The partnerships will also support the innovation ecosystems regionally and nationally by bringing together the best of KPMG, universities, innovation-led companies and investors.

  1. Driving Local Insights

Each partnership has been developed with a specific market, sector or issue focus, where KPMG and the university can together deliver insights that drive business benefits

  1. Advanced Data Analytics

Bringing together specialists from the Universities and KPMG, the partnerships will develop new research and provide fresh insights that will enhance data and analytics services for businesses.
