Marc-André Giger previously worked at an auditing and consulting firm, where he was responsible for the public administration, healthcare and sports sectors. Before that, Marc-André Giger spent 12 years heading up two of Switzerland’s largest industry associations, first as the director of Santésuisse, the association of Swiss health insurance companies, then as the managing director of Swiss Olympic, the country’s Olympic association.
Giger studied business management at the University of Basel, majoring in marketing and strategic management. He then went on to complete further studies at Harvard Business School, at INSEAD in Fontainebleau and at the University of St. Gallen, where he obtained his Executive MBA.
