Within the Department of Professional Practice (DPP), Silvan Loser heads the “Swiss Financial Reporting” function (Swiss GAAP FER / Swiss Code of Obligations). In this role, he represents KPMG in the FER Commission and in the EXPERTsuisse Accounting Commission.
In addition to his technical role, Silvan Loser is primarily active in training and education as well as in advising industrial, commercial and service companies. He is a lecturer at the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and has authored numerous publications on accounting topics.
