Julian advises national and international clients regarding climate action, TCFD reporting and transformation, and is specialized in decarbonization, carbon accounting and climate risk. He has extensive experience guiding clients through a rigorous process of corporate climate impacts, trends, policies, risk mitigation strategies, robust reporting (TCFD, ESRS und ISSB) and sustainable decarbonization pathways.
Before joining KPMG, Julian played a key role in sustainability and net-zero strategy development across various industries. His work included defining goals, setting targets and planning rollouts. He also managed reporting processes for organizations in accordance with international standards such as the Task Force for Climate-related Financial Disclosure (TCFD) and the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), among others.
In the field of sustainability performance management, Julian led carbon accounting and scenario analysis for industry companies, helping them identify risks and opportunities. He closely guides a company’s development of sustainability targets and metrics.
Julian has been with KPMG since May 2023, focusing on analyzing corporate climate impacts, trends and reporting frameworks. He works closely with clients to create bespoke solutions for climate target setting, risk assessment, disclosure and reporting.
