Simon specializes in providing assurance and serves both large global groups and national SMEs.
His primary focus is audits of financial statements prepared in accordance with IFRS, US GAAP, Swiss GAAP FER or Swiss statutory requirements. He acts as lead auditor for companies listed in Switzerland and the United States as well as for owner-managed businesses.
Simon has extensive experience in the retail industry from positions held prior to joining KPMG in 2007 and, as auditor, has served clients predominantly in the FMCG and industrial manufacturing sectors. He was seconded to KPMG New Zealand for two years, and over the past years, he has supported clients in transactions such as carve-outs, IPO, or acquisitions and integrations, and he has driven the evolution of modern audits.
Additionally, Simon heads the Board Leadership Center in Switzerland, KPMG’s competence center for board members, and leads KPMG’s market region Bern-Mittelland.
