We’re marking over 20 years of the Audit Committee Institute (ACI)

The Audit Committee Institute (ACI) was created over 20 years ago to help non-executive directors keep up to date with corporate reporting, risk and governance issues. In 2017, the Board Leadership Centre (BLC) was formed covering an all-board remit and the ACI now sits within the BLC.

On these pages, you can uncover the story of our programme, how the BLC has grown over time, and the key milestones that have influenced our journey.

Supporting our community

By providing board members with a suite of professional development opportunities the BLC contributes positively to the long-term sustainability of UK Plc. The insights we provide can help non-executives feel confident in asking the difficult questions at the organisations they oversee as well as helping with their continuous professional development.

Members have access to an extensive free-of-charge programme of seminars, resources, and publications. They hear from subject matter specialists, have opportunities to connect with peers, share ideas and discuss the challenges they face
