On February 12, 2025, KPMG Sweden announced that the part of the business primarily focusing on audit, advisory, and tax services for small companies, as well as parts of the business for medium-sized companies in certain locations, is intended to be divested to Azets Sweden. The divestment also includes audit and certain advisory services to municipalities and regions.

Today, the transaction is completed and has enabled KPMG to now strengthen its offering to existing customers. Our multidisciplinary business enables us to combine our local expertise with the strength of our global network, an increasingly important advantage in today’s fast-evolving business environment, where industry-specific expertise is key.

-In line with our global strategy, the transaction has enabled us to focus on KPMG’s primary target group: large and medium-sized companies as well as companies with strong growth potential. We are concentrating our presence in the country to 12 locations and building a stronger KPMG where our multidisciplinary model is central. We look forward to accelerating our offering and thereby continuing to create value for our clients, employees, and society. We wish the employees and clients who are now becoming part of Azets Sweden the best of luck, and we look forward to continuing excellent cooperation, says Mathias Arvidsson, Partner and CEO of KPMG.
