Working at KPMG as a student or young professional

At KPMG, we offer a variety of exciting opportunities for students and young professionals to work during and immediately after their university studies. With us, you have the chance to make a significant impact from the start—both within our teams and for our clients. You will gain lifelong learning experiences through client engagements, guidance from experienced colleagues and leaders, and our rigorous learning and development programs.

Student jobs at KPMG Delivery Center

At the Delivery Center, students work part-time in auditing or accounting during their studies. This provides an opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge from their academic studies into practice, and to further develop skills in auditing and various digital tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.

A Delivery Center employee's role primarily involves supporting the Audit function with digital solutions and standardized tasks. You will gain unique insights into the auditing profession and access to a vast network of industry experts throughout Sweden. You will have an individual development plan to strengthen your knowledge in auditing. After completing their degrees, many employees from the Delivery Center continue their careers with us in areas such as Audit, Onsite Solutions, Deal Advisory, and Management Consulting. Delivery Centers are located in Uppsala, Umeå, Gothenburg, and Malmö.

Internships at KPMG

We offer a range of internship programs within audit, deal advisory, management consulting and tax and legal.

Our Audit internship is designed for driven and ambitious economics students who have one to three semesters remaining in their education. Our interns work full-time (40 hours per week) during our peak season in the spring. You will work on client assignments with our auditing teams, performing tasks that newly hired graduates typically handle. The internship, offered in Stockholm, Gothenburg, and other locations, is a great opportunity for students to combine theory with practice and experience what it is like to work at an auditing firm. Our interns gain valuable experience that can open up future employment opportunities with us.

Our Management Consulting internship offers final-year business, economics, or engineering students the opportunity to be part of client teams working on change projects. We value your personal development, and as part of your internship, you will receive training and continuous feedback from both project members and your Performance Manager. To succeed in this role, you need strong analytical skills, a collaborative team spirit, good social skills, and excellent communication abilities. We offer internships at our offices in Stockholm and Gothenburg.

Our Tax & Legal internship provides law students with the chance to work alongside our tax advisors on exciting client assignments, gaining insight into what it is like to work as a tax advisor. As an intern with us, you will be assigned a mentor who will coach you on-site. Our internships are 8-10 weeks long and take place during the fall in Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö.
