Preparing for your job application and interview with us

Learn more about our recruitment process and what we value in a CV.

Our recruitment process

In most of our recruitment processes, you'll start by completing online tests as the first step in the selection process.

The next step is an interview with HR, where we aim to get to know you better and see if your skills match the specific position. In some cases, you may be invited to an Assessment Day. Our Assessment Days can be either full days or half days at the office where the position is located. During this day, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your skills through case studies and interviews, and meet the department's managers and employees.

The final step involves a final interview with a manager from the department or team you are being considered for. If you haven't completed a case study in earlier stages, you may be asked to do so during this interview.

After the final interview, we will contact your references to learn more about you from a professional perspective. Once a decision is made, we will reach out to discuss the outcome of your interview. During this time, we encourage you to ask any questions you may have about your candidacy and request any feedback you wish to receive.

What we value in a CV

Structure: Ensure your CV has a clear and organized structure, listing your academic and professional experience in reverse chronological order.

Personalization: Tailor your application to the specific role you are applying for.

International Experience: Highlight any international experiences from work or studies, as KPMG is a global company.

Relevant Experience: Include experiences from student associations, previous work, and any leadership roles.

What we look for in an interview

Be yourself: We want you to be at your best, but more importantly, we want you to be yourself. We hire for the long term and aim to connect you to the role that best suits you.

Share your story: We understand that you may not have a long list of experiences yet. We want to learn about what drives and motivates you, your strengths, and your skills.

Ask questions: Be curious and ask questions. This is your chance to explore if KPMG is the right workplace for you. Your questions will also help us understand you better and how you would like to grow.
