      Our people

      Our impact

      Our clients

At KPMG Reading, we are proud to work with a diverse range of clients, from large multinationals and listed plcs, to private equity backed companies, family businesses and entrepreneur-led companies, clients across local and central government, healthcare, education and social housing, and a vast array of start-ups and scale-ups in high growth sectors such as life sciences and TMT. We support our clients unlock their growth potential and mitigate their risk across our services, helping them on immediate activities as well as availing them of issues and opportunities we see on the horizon. We ensure that clients are given access to market leading content and thought leadership, and a regular series of topical events providing deep insights and networking opportunities. We pride ourselves on our market coverage and deep relationships across C-suite, non-executives, senior leaders, family shareholders and business owners and adopt a client first, issues-led approach to our relationships and service provision.

      Our people

Our Reading office thrives on purpose-driven teamwork with 43% of colleagues actively engaged in volunteering and fundraising, collectively donating 2,500 hours. When our people volunteer, they help organisations save money and increase capacity to reach more people and expand services, like mentoring and tutoring children to help them build the skills and confidence they need to succeed. These efforts reflect KPMG’s culture of empathy, collaboration, and leadership. Every hour spent volunteering strengthens our team and demonstrates that we live our values. Sharing time and expertise enables our people create ripples of impact that extend far beyond the office walls, proving that when we work together for good, we make communities stronger and futures brighter.

      Our community

We invest in initiatives that make Reading stronger and more connected to create opportunities for everyone in the community. Our support helps organisations improve food provision, reduce stigma around seeking help, and offer education and mentoring programmes that inspire ambition and build skills to build resilience and hope where it’s needed most. Every project we back is chosen because it delivers measurable change: fewer families going hungry, more young people gaining confidence, and communities that feel supported and empowered. For us, this is purpose in action, creating a Reading where all have the chance to thrive and to leave a lasting legacy of wellbeing and opportunity.
