KPMG in India hosts a number of thought leadership events and one of our flagship events is our annual conference - ‘KPMG Accounting, Reporting and Compliance Conference (KARCC)’.

The theme of the conference this year is ‘Navigating through a rapidly changing business environment’. This event aims to provide valuable insights to help professionals stay ahead in today's dynamic business landscape.

We intend to discuss the following topics
  1. Changing landscape of financial reporting and enhancing corporate governance

    Covering regulatory inspections, year-end reporting improvements, data integrity, cybersecurity, climate-related disclosures, generative AI, and connectivity of information

  2. Keeping pace with accounting and reporting updates

    Focussing on recent financial reporting updates, regulatory changes and year-end reminders

  3. Capital markets developments

    Discussing regulatory developments, disclosures, and preparation for IPO journeys and M&A transactions

The underlying theme of the conference will be delivered through sessions by eminent professionals from the industry and technical experts.

The KARCC event is planned at six locations this year, over February and March 2025.
