With over 29 years of experience in advising leading Indian and multinational companies across sectors, Sai has in-depth expertise in financial reporting, corporate governance, capital markets, and finance transformation.
In his current role as global lead partner for one of KPMG's global platinum accounts, he is responsible for the relationship with and services provided to a large Indian conglomerate with a global presence across a range of sectors. He also works closely with large corporations in the area of ESG-related reporting and assurance.
He has previously worked across both audit and advisory services in various roles, including as the global lead for KPMG's Smart Digital Finance Solutions, Head of KPMG in India’s Accounting Advisory Services business and Head of KPMG in India’s CFO Advisory business. He has also worked closely with companies engaged in primary and secondary offerings on Indian and global capital markets, including the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), NASDAQ Stock Market (NASDAQ), London Stock Exchange (LSE) as well as companies involved in both domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions. He also has extensive transactions experience, including structuring for mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and capital raising. He has also been closely involved in advising companies in the areas of finance transformation, financial reporting (U.S. GAAP, IFRS and other GAAPs), regulatory reporting (covering U.S., UK, and India), IPOs (U.S., UK, Singapore, and India), investor relations, post-deal integration, enterprise performance management, and outsourcing services.
He has been closely involved in various initiatives around corporate governance, capital markets, financial reporting and company law, both in India and internationally, working with standard setters, regulators, industry bodies, etc.
He is also a regular speaker at various conferences and workshops on matters relating to his expertise.
