To apply for PMP® certification candidates must meet following criteria:
- 35 contact hours of formal project management education
- Project management experience
- Bachelor’s degree - minimum 3 years/36 months unique non-overlapping professional project management experience
- Secondary degree/high school diploma/associate’s degree - minimum 5 years/60 months unique non-overlapping professional project management experience.

Q1: Which edition of PMBOK® is PMP® certification training aligned to?
A: PMP® examination is based on PMP® exam content outline (ECO) and not PMBOK®. Our training is aligned to the latest ECO which came into effect in Jan 2021. PMBOK® is one of the many references for PMP® exam. With extensive analysis we put together our course material to align with the ECO. Both PMBOK® 6th and 7th editions were referenced in the development of course material.
Q2: What is the duration of the certification training?
A: It is a four-day PMP® classroom/live virtual preparation programme or 36 hours during live virtual sessions.
Q3: Will KPMG in India provide PMP® certification?
A: No, but KPMG in India will award 35 contact hours certificate to the participants upon completion of training requirements which is a pre-requisite to apply for PMP® certification.
PMP® certification is offered by Project Management Institute, Inc. (PMI), the accrediting body for PMP® certification.
Q4: What are the prerequisites for the PMP® exam preparation training?
