The opportunity

The State Government sought a consultancy to analyse potential areas for revenue enhancement. This involved studying insights from revenue departments, identifying gaps, and undertaking asset monetisation exercises to improve state-owned revenue streams. The challenge was to develop and implement strategies to augment revenue while enhancing governance and operational efficiency.

KPMG in India's response

KPMG in India was selected to set up and operationalise the Revenue Augmentation & Analytics Cell.
